With the departure of the Bentley Mulsanne in 2021, the Flying Spur is now its automaker’s flagship four-door sedan. Bentley introduced the Flying Spur as a four-door version of its Continental GT coupe for the 2006 model year, and it debuted the third-generation Flying Spur for 2020.
The new model shares a platform with the Porsche Panamera and for 2021, it gains a version of Porsche’s twin-turbo V-8. Bentley’s Flying Spur competes with other high-luxury sedans like the Rolls-Royce Ghost, as well as more luxurious variants of the Panamera, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and BMW 7 Series
